Andrew Northrup, Forensics Division, Maryland Office of the Public Defender

A senior attorney in the Forensics Division of the Maryland Public Defender's Office. He has been with the office since 2010. Before that, he was on the Minnesota State Public Defender's Trial Team and was a founding member of the Cook County Public Defender's Forensic Science Division.

After being sworn in as a Maryland attorney, Bradley worked as an associate attorney at a general practice law firm in Glen Burnie, and then a medical malpractice defense firm in Towson. By focusing his efforts, Bradley has been able to become a subject matter expert on criminal defense. His expertise led him to be elected by his peers to the role of chairman of the criminal law section for the Howard County Bar Association. He is routinely asked to give presentations and instruction to other attorneys on specific criminal defense topics.
